Founding Story
Michael Colman started in web development. Eight years of building websites across different industries gave him a clear view of what separated sites that generated business from sites that merely existed. He understood load times, site architecture, conversion pathways, and the technical fundamentals that most marketing agencies treat as somebody else's problem.
What he also noticed, working alongside healthcare practices, was a consistent pattern. Allied health owners were paying generalist agencies, agencies that had never navigated AHPRA, had no idea what a patient lifetime value looked like, and were writing ad copy that would have made a regulator uneasy. The results reflected it. Flat traffic. No bookings. Mounting retainer invoices.
The response most agencies gave was to keep billing while promising things were about to improve.
Michael took a different path. He spent a full year learning SEO and Google Ads specifically through a healthcare lens. Not in theory, in practice. Testing what ranked, what converted, what held up under AHPRA scrutiny. He worked out what kinds of website architecture made Google trust a health practice. He tested which patient searches converted to appointments and which ones burned budget without returning a booking.
Then he made a deliberate choice: allied health only.
No restaurants. No real estate. No e-commerce. The decision to specialise completely was not about limiting what LHM could do. It was about being genuinely better at one specific thing than any generalist could be.
That is still the operating model today.
Mission
Every engagement at LHM is designed around a simple three-way outcome.
The practice wins: more consistent bookings, clearer reporting, and a marketing system that grows with the business rather than lagging behind it.
The patient wins: they find the right practitioner for their condition, without wading through irrelevant results or being misled by compliance-grey advertising.
LHM wins: long-term client relationships built on results. Not on lock-in contracts or vanity metrics that look good in a monthly PDF but do not move the practice forward.
If a strategy is not generating real bookings, we change it. The reporting is transparent enough that there is nowhere to hide, for either side of the table.
Values
Integrity We recommend what works for your practice, even when a different answer would generate more revenue for us. If a channel is not right for your stage of growth, we say so.
Smart Execution Strategy without implementation is just a slide deck. Every recommendation we make gets built, tracked, and refined. Speed matters because most practices cannot wait six months to see results.
Transparency You see exactly where your budget goes and what it returns. Monthly reporting is built around the numbers that matter to a practice owner: new patient enquiries, bookings, cost per acquisition.
Win-Win Partnership If the engagement is not working for both sides, we fix it or we part ways honestly. A client who stays because leaving feels complicated is not a client relationship worth having.
The Team
Michael Colman, Founder and Digital Strategist Michael sets campaign strategy, manages senior client relationships, and oversees every deliverable that leaves the LHM team. He holds the view that an agency that cannot explain what it is doing in plain English is probably doing something that does not work. Eight years of technical web development plus a full year of healthcare-specific digital marketing research underpin every strategic call he makes.
Kristalyn Paguibitan, Account Manager Kristalyn is the day-to-day point of contact for practices on the LHM books. She keeps campaigns on schedule, ensures clients always know what is happening and what is coming next, and handles the internal coordination that keeps deliverables moving. If something needs to happen by Friday, Kristalyn makes sure it does.
Aiya Quinones, Web Developer Aiya builds the sites. Fast-loading, conversion-optimised WordPress builds that are designed to perform from day one. She is responsible for the delivery timelines that allow LHM to guarantee a live site under two months. Every build she delivers is mobile-first and SEO-structured before a single word of content is added.
Jaimee Magsino, SEO and WordPress Specialist Jaimee handles on-page SEO, content implementation, and technical site health. When a site is live, she is the one monitoring crawl data, fixing technical issues before they affect rankings, and ensuring the content schedule runs as planned. She knows what Google's quality assessors are looking for in health-related pages and builds to that standard.
Why Healthcare Only
Specialisation has a compounding effect that generalist agencies cannot replicate.
When every client you work with is a healthcare practice owner, every campaign you run produces data that is directly relevant to the next campaign. What converts for a psychology practice in Brisbane informs what we test for a physiotherapy clinic in Perth. What gets flagged by AHPRA in one modality teaches us how to tighten compliance across all of them.
A generalist agency switches context between a restaurant, a law firm, and a health clinic in the same week. The learning does not transfer. The templates do not carry over. The compliance knowledge disappears the moment they move on to a different industry.
At LHM, every process we have built is designed for healthcare. Our website templates are structured around how patients search for allied health services. Our ad copy frameworks are built around what AHPRA allows, not what needs to be edited after the fact. When we talk about patient lifetime value, we understand that an initial consult for a biomechanical condition can represent thousands of dollars in ongoing care over a treatment plan.
We also benchmark against other allied health practices, not against industries that have nothing in common with yours. When we tell you your organic traffic is outperforming the category average, that comparison is meaningful because we are looking at the same type of practices in the same search environment.
Healthcare is all we do. That depth is what our clients pay for.
